Lipstick and Goggles (2014)

“Hey, where was the start line?”
She said, “I thought I was just there”
I said, “Well, it’s all in the air
I’m sure it was further than we all thought”

“So that’s why this bottle is empty?”
Looking ahead, “Time is not the only thing I lost”
“See, instead, you earned a space
It’s funny, but we witnessed the pace”

Once upon a time, claimed that famous author
“Ain’t no memories if you can’t share it with anyone”
Oh yes, he’s talking about us
Lipstick and goggles, click and giggle

“Hey, would you like a glass of wine?”
You said, “Shouldn’t we all celebrate?”
The white statue said, “Let us meditate
I’m sure it took longer ’cause we all fought”

Once upon a time, claimed that famous author
“Ain’t no memories if you can’t share it with anyone”
Oh yes, he’s talking about us
Lipstick and goggles, click and giggle

We’re all walking on the street
Stopping each one of them to greet
How can we keep complaining?
This miraculous time will stop sustaining

I will never ever miss you
‘Cause our memories are true
See you in the sunshine, my friends
